We believe making is part of being human. Long before creativity became content, something to monetize, or another measure of productivity, we made things for the simple joy of it.


Make Space is a creative community bringing people together to rediscover that joy. Through hands-on workshops, shared creative practices, and gatherings, we make room for curiosity, play, and connection. A chance to step away from consuming, get out of our heads, and into our hands.


We're not here to make everyone an artist. We're here to remind people that they were always makers.

Founder, Make Space

Urechi Oguguo is an architectural and experiential designer and the founder of Make Space.


She's always been interested in the relationship between people and the spaces they occupy. As a designer, she's spent her career creating environments that shape how people experience and interact with the world. As a lifelong maker, she's found that same sense of possibility in working with her hands, where the process of making can be just as meaningful as the thing being made.


She founded Make Space to bring those two interests together. An extension of her design practice and her belief that creativity is something everyone should have the opportunity to experience, Make Space is her way of creating spaces where people can rediscover the joy of making, together.
